this is so funny. it makes me wonder how we destroy other languages here in the US when we translate something. I called 311 the other day to find something out about parking in my neighborhood and it took over 3 minutes (which is long!) to get to the next thing on the menu because they said it in about 15 different language...for English, press 1; para espanol, oprima la tecla numero 2...etc. I can't imagine what some of the other language sounded like and how badly the NYC government messed them up....
