History has been made and is continuing to be made.
I am currently reading a great book (in addition to a Baha'i book) called 'The Penguin History of the Twentieth Century.'
Whilst that book might sound about as interesting as watching your grandma knitting you a scarf in real time, its actually very interesting.
One thing i read in the preface by the author was that the closer we get to our own times, the harder it is to see the history that really matters. We lack the perspective we might have in 100 years.
History has been made in the sense of having the first African American western leader. An awesome feat. the rest has been unwritten.... :)
